Home Support 

In Home Support, participants will receive staff support with managing safe and responsible behavior in order to strengthen and increase their natural supports.

PSL Services/STRIVE offers in-person home support shifts 9am-1pm & 1pm-5pm, Monday through Friday.

Home Support

PSL Services/STRIVE provides an in-home support program for individuals with intellectual disabilities that enhances our participants’ independent living skills.

If you are ages
18 and Up

Through PSL Services/STRIVE’s Home Support Program, participants will have the opportunity to work on goals to increase their independence in their home in the following areas:

Apartment safety and maintenance

Self-care (including assistance with personal hygiene)

Organizing/Laundry and cleaning

Meal planning

Grocery shopping

Cooking and meal preparation

Food storage and food safety

Budgeting and banking

Time-management

Mail correspondence

Participants will receive staff support with health maintenance and staff will model a healthy lifestyle. Staff will support participants in identifying medical needs, assist in communicating information to a medical professional; assist in interpreting information from a professional; and support in following up with medical direction and health maintenance recommendations.
