Winter Break Camp Recap
Camp STRIVE's winter break camp provided a number of wonderful ways to celebrate the season together! Campers enjoyed a fun-filled week
packed with creative winter crafts, local adventures, and holiday-themed activities. From cozy art workshops and gingerbread house
decorating to indoor obstacle courses and New Year’s games, there was something for everyone to enjoy!
Our campers also took part in exciting outings, including trips to L.L. Bean, snowshoeing, sledding at Payson Park, and a special visit
to see the chocolate moose! Whether spending time indoors creating and playing or heading out for seasonal adventures, Camp STRIVE was
full of smiles, laughter, and memorable moments. We’re so glad we could share such a fun and festive break together!
Camp STRIVE
If you are ages
11–24
Camp STRIVE is a typical day camp for campers 11–24 years old. The program provides campers with the opportunity to make friends, play games, and learn valuable skills in a day camp setting. Each week, campers participate in arts & crafts, games, cooking, physical activities, and field trips to local attractions. Campers are support in a 1:5 staff/camper ratio. Camp runs most school vacations and for the full summer, Monday–Friday. Full and half day sessions are available.
We are excited to continue our Camp STRIVE pilot program for summer 2026. This pilot program is aimed at campers who are 25 and up and are currently on waitlists for waiver funding and/or spend their summers in Maine but live elsewhere. This pilot program aims to provide an opportunity for these campers to participate in summer programming.

February Break Camp Recap
Camp STRIVE’s February break camp was a blast! We went bowling at Westport, got creative with Valentine's Day crafts and friendship bracelets, decorated cookies,
made slime, and went sledding at Payson Park. We also put together community care kits, enjoyed one of our favorite movies, played board games together, and wrapped up with a trip to see the
chocolate moose. We can't wait for the next opportunity to be together at camp!
