FRIDAY NIGHT SOCIAL EVENT

The cornerstone of the STRIVE program is the FRIDAY NIGHT SOCIAL EVENT The STRIVE Friday Night Social Event is a program offering teens and young adults (ages 15-24) with developmental disabilities the opportunity to have fun and interact with their peers on a weekly basis. Every Friday from 6:00-9:00pm, teens and young adults are welcome to come to STRIVE to make friends, play games and have fun!
Theme Night
One Friday a month is dedicated to a theme, choosen by STRIVE's Advisory Board. Theme nights include: Decorations, Special Games, Prizes, and Costumes. Musical or Special Guests may also be at Theme Nights! Past theme nights have included: STRIVE IDOL, CARNIVAL NIGHT, RED SOX NIGHT, HALLOWEEN BLAST etc.
WHEN: Every Friday, 6:00-9:00pm
Where:STRIVE Center, 28 Foden Rd. in S. Portland
There is a $10 Cover Charge. No entrance fee for parents or staff.

All STRIVE Friday Night Attendees receive a STRIVE membership card!

DISCOUNTS are offered at the following places when card is presented: BookWorks, STRIVE, Thatcher's Restaurant & Sports Pub, FUNTOWN U.S.A., MISTER Bagel near the Maine Mall, Pizza Plus the Portland Sea Dogs, and Happy Wheels! All members are notifed when new businesses are added to the card. Unable to afford the $10 Cover Charge every Friday? Fill out a STRIVE scholarship form and return it to STRIVE. All applicants are notified after application is processed.
